Krovinių Terminalas Awarded the First Certificate of ISO/TS 29001:2007 in the Baltic States 2008.12.23 Krovinių Terminalas UAB held by the concern Achema Group was awarded the certificate of ISO/TS 29001:2007 Standard. "Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance", the company having awarded the certificate, points out that it is the first evaluation of this sort among the enterprises of the Baltic States. "This is a good new to our clients and a sign that our terminal renders the high-quality and top-safety services", says Audrius Pauža, CEO of Krovinių Terminalas. Being a specific part of the Quality Management System ISO 9001ISO/TS, the certificate ISO/TS 29001:2007 is adapted to oil and natural gas industries. Along with the aforementioned ISO/TS 29001 Standard, Krovinių Terminalas UAB applies ISO 9001:2000 (Quality Management), ISO 14001:2004 (Environment Management) and OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) Standards introduced within one year. "As far as I know, Krovinių Terminalas is the first company in the Baltic States where an integrated management system of four international standards has been introduced", says Oleg Zakabunin, head of LRQA Lietuva UAB acting as a representative of Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance in Lithuania. |
